Visa on Arrival (VOA) - Who Needs It and for How Long It's Issued

The Visa on Arrival (VOA) to Indonesia is a widely-used and convenient option for foreigners visiting the country, especially for those heading to Bali for short-term tourism.

Single-Entry Visa: The VOA is a single-entry visa, which means it becomes invalid once you leave Indonesia.

Duration: Initially valid for 30 days, the VOA can be extended once for an additional 30 days. This allows for a maximum stay of 60 days in Indonesia before you must exit the country.

How to obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA)

You need to start the process 14 working days before your current visa expires. At least 10 working days before the deadline, we must have your passport in our possession.

Visa on Arrival can be obtained through three methods :

  1. Upon arrival at the airport

  2. Online in advance on the website of the Indonesian immigration service

  3. Through our agency

Payment for the visa is made at the airport upon arrival at a designated counter*, either in cash (US dollars, euros, Australian dollars, or Indonesian rupiah) or by card. Subsequently, the visa will be affixed to your passport at the immigration control with the notation “Visa on Arrival” and the date of arrival.

To apply for a Visa on Arrival, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia.

To avoid queues, we recommend obtaining the VOA in advance.

You can do this independently on the website of the Indonesian immigration service: https://molina.imigrasi.go.id

Alternatively, you can use our services. We will process the visa for you quickly, allowing you to focus on preparing for your trip. All we require is your passport.
